Only issue was parking and the days were not known so we got parking ticket

Everything about the description was very accurate and it’s easy to commute to NYC from here.

I won't recommend it, that's all I'll say. Positive: N/A Negative: In the advertisement it said that it was 20 minutes from New York and it always took us 1 hour on the route. It said it was breakfast included for the 4 days we paid and they only left some pancakes and maple syrup for ONE DAY, ONE. We were 7 people and THEY ONLY LEFT A PACKAGE OF PANCKAKES FOR ONE DAY. In relation to the price it was very high for the comforts we had, we left very unhappy with the stay. Now, we had a credit of 250 dollars that we could never redeem because they didn't give the options to do it, it was a complete scam, I really won't recommend it.

Excelente local! Recomendo! Positive: O apartamento é muito grande, acomodando confortavelmente 6 pessoas. Todos os cômodos são amplos e estava tudo muito limpo. O café da manhã é simples, mas nos ajudava bastante. Se a sua ideia for sair de manhã p/ New York e voltar no fim do dia, o apartamento servirá muito bem, já que fica um pouco longe. A estação de trem fica próxima e você conseguirá se deslocar com facilidade. Taxi ou Uber para lá é caro (de New York), já que fica distante e também é pago o pedágio.

Negative: Il posto dove si trova la casa, un quartiere molto brutto e pericoloso ,con persone poco raccomandabili,poi molta lontana dal centro di New York e Manatthan ,per spostarsi ci vogliono un sacco di soldi ogni giorno ,tra Uber e il treno Path, abbiamo speso troppo soldi,e in più tanto tanto stress, era meglio alloggiare a New York ho Manatthan,sicuramente pagavamo di più , però ti risparmiavi sia di viaggiare ogni giorno ,che lo stress fisico ,e dire molto faticoso con un bambino di 4 anni e stata veramente dura, a parte la casa come ho detto poc'anzi ,sconsiglio di andare in quel posto,mai più.

Très agréable séjour, proche du tram Positive: L’emplacement, le Rooftop, avec la vue sur la Skyline, Chambres spacieuses et confortables, la cuisine, bien équipée. Luca a été très réactif à nos demandes. Nous le remercions. Negative: Le canapé en très mauvais état. Il y a trois chambres avec un lit double dans chacune. Mais par contre les lits supplémentaires sont deux matelas gonflables pour deux personnes ce qui n’était pas précisé dans l’annonce.

Positive: Hôte très réactif, je l'ai contacté car il n'y avez pas assez de vaisselle et de serviette pour 8 et il nous a déposé ce qu'il manqué Le calme du lieux Machine à laver avec la lessive et sèche linge très pratique Negative: Le canapé est clairement à jeter impossible d'y dormir et même de s'y asseoir tous simplement , 3 lits de 2 couchages et les personnes supplémentaires sur des matelas gonflables, donc je dirais parfait pour 6, l'hôte ma répondu que l'appartement était pour 10 sachez juste que ce sera sur des matelas gonflable. Fuite dans les toilettes du bas et dans la chambre où il y a la salle de bain, nous n'avons pas prévenu l'hôte car nous ne voulions pas qu'une entreprise intervienne durant notre absence avec toutes nos affaires. C'était également dommage de ne rien à voir pour le ménage hormis l'aspirateur, ni éponge ni essuie tout ou liquide vaisselle... La terrasse était toute retourner à notre arrivée ce que nous avons trouvé dommage, cela donne l'impression de ne pas être attendu ...

Sua casa perto de NYC, perfeita! Positive: Excelente local, dá vontade de ficar por muito mais tempo lá e também de voltar sempre. A casa é muito espaçosa, moderna, com todo o conforto necessário e em uma ótima localização. Tem tudo o que precisamos, os chuveiros são ótimos e as camas também. Fomos e voltamos todos os dias para NYC de trem sem problema algum, fica muito perto da estação. A comunicação com os anfitriões é ótima. Já estamos com saudades de lá e queremos voltar. Negative: A parte da entrada (jardim e pequeno hall de entrada) estava suja e com muitas coisas deixadas/esquecidas lá, precisa de uma limpeza mais cuidadosa. De resto, dentro da casa em si estava impecável.

Negative: Tesis New York’a çok yakın olmakla birlikte metro ile gideyim derseniz metroya yaklaşık 30-35 dk yürümek gerekiyor. Biz otobüs kullanmadık, yürüyerek gittik. Bir de check-out saati bize çok erken geldi. Sabah 9.00’da çıkmak gerekiyor. Late check-out seçeneği var ancak ekstra ücret ödemek gerekiyor. Bunlar bizim için sorun olmadı ancak kalmak isteyenler açısından bilgi olsun diye paylaşıyorum

Negative: The temp was set too high in auto settings. We would turn it down and in the middle of the night it would reset and warm up to 78°. we would wake up sweating. Other than that it was a great stay

Positive: Proximity to train station for travel to and from NY especially for travellers without a car. Breakfast provisions were generious, and amenities for laundry were also appreciated. Negative: Limited hot water for a family home, drainage in master shower base needed attention, exposed wiring in master bedroom ceiling where the fan had been removed.

Everything about our stay with the Airbnb was very clean and cozy. There are no tvs in the bedrooms, and had a couple of issues with coffee maker and fans not working properly. However, he delivered a new coffee maker personally at 8 am just so we could have coffee, and when I did personally reach out to the host he was very quick with responses and fixed everything in an extremely timely manner. He wasn’t able to fix the bedroom fan while we were there but he did attempt to. Also, had a small fan delivered to the house for us the minute he knew he couldn’t fix the ceiling one. I would stay with him as the host 10 times over.

Positive: les pan cakes étaient très bons et un bon assortiments de café. 3 mn à pied de la première gare pour aller à Manathan nous n'avons pas entendu les voisins bien isolé le propriétaire toujours à l'écoute à n'importe quel moment et flexible sur l'heure du départ un très bon cadeau pour le jour du départ des donuts. Negative: les changements de place sur la route par apport au jours mais ca le propriétaire n'y ai pour rien.

Notre meilleur choix pour visiter New-York en famille Positive: Magnifique appartement, avec tous les équipements nécessaires, un roof top avec vue, une literie très confortable, au calme après l’agitation débordante de NY et un hôte aux petits soins, arrangeant et réactif. Nous avons vraiment apprécié de retrouver notre confort et de l’espace pour chacun (on était 5) après les longues journées de visite. Le seul bémol serait le temps de trajet qui peut être plus long que prévu si les correspondances ne s’enchaînent pas bien mais pour nous, ce n’était pas un problème au regard de l’excellent rapport qualité prix de l’appartement de Luca.

We had an outstanding stay at Luca’s Airbnb in Jersey City! From the moment we booked, Luca was incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. He made everything seamless—from check-in to check-out—and was always quick to answer questions or offer assistance. The apartment itself was beautiful—immaculately clean, stylishly furnished, and very comfortable. It felt like a true home away from home, with thoughtful touches throughout that made a big difference during our stay. One of the best parts of our experience was Luca’s fantastic local insight. He gave us several excellent restaurant recommendations right in Jersey City—some real gems we might not have found on our own. Luca’s place was just as described and looked exactly like the pictures. Luca was very responsive throughout the whole trip and was very quick too. The only issue you might have is just finding parking especially if you’re coming to the home late at night.

De gastheer is heel vriendelijk en staat meteen klaar voor als er vragen zijn. Negative: Qua locatie voor New York te bezoeken ben je wel heel even onderweg om met het openbaar vervoer te doen. Best via een uber/taxi naar New York gaan. Onmogelijk om op de slaapbank te slapen deze plooide niet goed open.

Nice place that I would recommend as it is not far from the city and is very comfortable. Positive: The place was really nice. Having 3 bathrooms with 3 bedrooms was a definite bonus. Pancake breakfast was a nice bonus. Using the key codes to get in was easy and convenient. Negative: Parking is a problem, stayed 3 nights and had to park 3 blocks away every night. With a coffee machine in the kitchen, would have been nice to have actual coffee for it and not instant along with maybe some of those little creamers. I guess most people head out for breakfast.

Nice and clean place! The neighborhood is fine but close to some areas I didn’t feel comfortable walking around with small children. Overall close to everything we needed and Luca was very responsive and helpful during our stay!

Responsive host. Gave us extra hour for check-out (although 9am is out of standard checkout hours). Parking is easy in the street. A few amenities in the house is missing to make it comfortable and convenient but overall rooms are ok.

Nice, clean place in Jersey City! Host continuously provides updates. It took us about 45 minutes to an hour to drive into NYC everyday. There’s only street parking at the apartment, so if you’re unfamiliar with how parking works up north (I’m from NC so I wasn’t aware) be sure to ask the host about the street parking rules.

Eindrucksvoller Ausblick von der Dachterrasse. Per Mail stets freundlicher und schneller Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber. Negative: Ausstattung der Küche, damit man das Geschirr auch mal schnell von Hand spülen kann. Eine Info-Mappe mit schriftlichen Tipps zur Technik und Ausstattung der Wohnung oder mit Ausflugstipps wäre toll gewesen. Der Fön war leider defekt.

If you don't mind the commute to NYC, this is a good place to stay. It took us roughly an hour each day to get into NYC by light rail, PASS station and subway. Super short walk to light rail (3 minutes). One night we had to walk back to the airbnb and 2-3 blocks leading up to the airbnb were sketchy. Caution at night, would not recommend walking through that area. The place was a little tight for the 9 of us, but we made it work. Air mattress was provided. Some of the days the temperature was too hot in the apartment, but owner responded quick to the requests. Ceiling fan was broken in one of the rooms and looked like it was ready to fall off. Overall, no complaints really on the stay.

Positive: Gute Aufteilung der Wohnung. Erste Etage Küche, Wohnzimmer und WC. 2 Etage Schlafräume und 2 Bäder. 3 Etage eine Dachterrasse. Wir haben in New York geheiratet. Sonderwünschen wie zb einen Körpergroßen Spiegel, kam der Vermieter nach. Negative: Vieles sehr locker wie zb Toilettensitze, Handtuchhalter, Türgriffe,... Teilweise sehr staubig.

Overall, the place was very nice and clean. We had plenty of room for our party of five. Don't know Positive: Breakfast was fine, there was only enough pancake mix for one morning, however, we found a local place to eat breakfast the second morning. Negative: We needed more towels and didn't have any wash clothes. Living area either needs a larger sectional or another chair/recliner. One in our party had to set on the floor or in a straight back chair when we watched a movie.

Positive: I really loved the décor of the apartment and how spacious it was for our family of 6. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and we really loved the rooftop access. We were pleasantly surprised that you could see the statue of Liberty clearly from up there. The host was so nice and accommodating too. I reached out to him about a broom and dustpan so we could tidy up after our messy crumb making toddlers, and he got one over to us within a couple of hours. He was also able to adjust the preset thermostat for us as it was a bit warm in there at first. I also loved that he was available by text day and night. for anything. Negative: The remodeled apartment was very nice, but the area was sketchy and parking was a nightmare. We only got to park in front of the apartment one time during our stay, and that was only because we arrived around 7 o'clock that night. The rest of the time we had to park a few streets over and walk in the dark. You should also know that you have to wake up early to move your car two days out of the week for street cleaning.

Our stay was awesome. Luca took care of us from beginning to end. The neighborhood is peaceful and short distance away from many attractions. Pay close attention to the parking rules. I would most definitely stay here again.

lovely place, nice host, not so nice area to stay. Positive: huge apartment and all appliances looked like new. Bathrooms were great. Negative: Location wasn't for us, we felt unsafe most of the time outdoors. Going to shop at night was challenging and dangerous. luckly the tram station is very close. I understand there is nothing there that the lovely host could do. Place in need of repaint. Some windows didn't close ( two windows in stairs going to the top terrace), and the main door was open at all times. Pin codes don't seem to change between rentals. We were given initally the pin code to the other apartment.

Overall a good place. Fans made noise at full speed and seemed like they will come off. Just 5 minute walk from the train station but we preferred not to walk in the neighborhood in the dark. It might get noisy at nights with noisy cars on full speed and loud music.

Overall a really nice stay. Luca was quick to respond to a leak under sink. On the last night the temperature in the house dropped it was really cold. This was the only time he didn't respond. It wasn't until 4:50am when he responded by text and raised the temperature. He offered to extend checkout to 11am instead of 9am. However, we continued with original plan to leave early. I enjoyed my stay. The path train was 2 minutes away easy trip to NY. I would stay again. Thanks

Everything was good about this Airbnb, except for parking since they were doing construction we had to park 2-3 blocks away from the airbnb

We've just got back from four nights at Luca's place, 3 adults and 4 grown up children. Very well positioned close to Garfield Station on the HBLR with easy axs to Exchage Place and Newport with easy axs to the PATH routes into NYC. In fairness it probably takes closer to 40 minutes to get from door to door into 33rd Street or World Trade Centre but not an issue at all. House is residential and in a very quiet, pleasant neighbourhood. House is well set up for a large group although the kitchen does need to be better stocked with only 2 wine glasses, small problem but could be an issue with larger group of adults. Nearest large shop is closer than advertised, Extra Supermarket on Martin Luther King Drive, max 10 minute walk. Well worth the money and would definitely recommend.

Solid place with a responsive host. Not the most interesting area and doesn’t look quite as good in person as in pictures but still made for a good vacation and Luca was very quick to respond on missing items. Enjoyed our stay here.

The house was great. Very clean and organized. Easy entry and Luca was very responsive. The small coffee bar was nice but there were no coffee filters. We only had two washcloths for five people. I suspect the cleaners mistook hand towels for washcloths because we had a couple of hand towels with our bath towels. It was very nice to have washer and dryer on site but they are very noisy so don’t wash if people are trying to sleep. Last, I felt mostly safe walking to the light rail station in Garfield. However, if you are going to be arriving later at night, you should be very aware and know that the area has the potential to become unsafe. The commute to NYC involves a few transfers and is fairly easy but does take some time. Overall we had an excellent stay and the place was exactly what we expected and has a decent far away view of the statue of liberty from roof top.

I was with 5 friends on my short visit to NYC, so we booked Luca’s rental place in Jersey City. We arrived quite late after watching a show and Luca was gracious enough to give instructions to enter his home with no problem. The kitchen and dining were clean and orderly, One of my friends that slept in the middle room noticed the beddings and pillows smelled like they were used already. We could have used few more hours to enjoy morning tea and coffee if check out time was at 10am like most AirBnB rentals. Still, we liked this place for the overall good ambience.

This place was very convenient when commuting to the city. The Host was very communicable when we had any questions especially when the city shut down our street for maintenance and we had to find alternate parking for the week.

Go ahead and book this…our group would rate this home 8/10. This home is very spacious…there was 8 of us staying here. The host was very helpful and had clear instructions. The home is very bright and airy… there is only 1 tv ( living room). The internet did stop working the last few nights but we were not home most of the time so we didn’t bother the host with that issue. Clean sheets, pillows, towels, and blankets. There is ice/water from the Samsung fridge and several glass cups/mugs in the pantry and other kitchen items in the cabinets. (Bring your own food-drinks…etc) Not really walking distance to anything (fast food, grocery stores) but the train station is on the next block (not even a 5 minute walk) which is what we utilized to get into NYC since we didn’t rent a vehicle for 5 days. The home does have other tenants from what we could tell but we not once came across anyone. The home does have a gate and is very secure! We felt very safe inside. Looks just like the pics.

Luca’s place was very comfortable for our family gathering during the NYC Marathon. Our busy schedule did not allow for much exploring of the neighborhood, but our grandson did enjoy the park down the street and we all enjoyed a Caribbean restaurant that was a short walk from the apartment.

Good place to stay, nice apartment!

Beautiful Airbnb, extremely comfortable for a family of 6. We enjoyed our stay! I’d say the commute to nyc is closer to 30 min (or more depending on where you go).

很好的体验，不过位置离纽约downtown 还是有距离。 Positive: 房间够大，够多，且设施很齐全，房东很nice，咖啡粉糖之类一应俱全，居住舒适，东西都很整齐干净。 Negative: 酒店退房的时间为上午九点，有点太早了，后面经过沟通延长到十点，也还是非常匆忙，建议退房时间像其他酒店或公寓看齐，11-12点。

Positive: It was very clean, and luxury. It was spacious! We recommande this place 100%. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate. Thank you again for your hospitality !!!!

Comfortable retreat Positive: Very clean, modern facilities. Agent was very fast at communicating back to me when I had any questions. Light rail transport was very close by 3 mins walk which links up to PATH trains to Manhatten. Supermarket was 10 mins walk from apartment. Beds were very comfortable and whole apartment very clean.

Convenient location and comfy home for our trip to NYC! Positive: The location was great. The light rail was just a few minutes around the corner, which gets you to the Exchange Place PATH to head over to NYC. The kitchen had nice, new appliances, coffee, and some pancake mix to kick off the mornings. The TV had streaming services available and the Wi-Fi was great throughout the house. We also loved the rooftop deck that had patio furniture to sit out and look towards the city skyline or the State of Liberty. Negative: There was no way to control the temperature in the house. The thermostat was locked up and appeared to be on an automatic setting. The downstairs stayed nice and cool, but the upstairs (with all the bedrooms) was a little warmer than we would have liked. There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but they really didn't help with cooling it down. One of the ceiling fans also couldn't be turned on more than the low setting without spinning wildly. Also, the A/C unit made a loud banging noise when it shut off, which would wake people up in the house at night.

The house is amazing, everything is fully upgraded. We enjoyed our stay. Luca is so reponsive. The only struggle we has is related to parking, we need to have a street parking, I would suggest please add parking details/instructions where to park on what days etc so that guests will have enough knowledge. I got two tickets though🤣

Great place. Booked it for my bridesmaids before my wedding so they could stay there and we can all get ready. Good area, easy to find parking. Nice neighbors and great location

It was a great stay with very communicative and accommodating hosts! Highly recommend for anyone that needs to stay in the area or visiting the city.

Love this place! My friends and I enjoyed a lot and everything in this house is beyond my expectations.

Luca was very responsive to my questions and concerns. My recommendation is to put shower grippers to prevent slips/fall. There were a few slips in the shower luckily no one was hurt.

The place was incredible, you get a great view of Manhattan and the statue of liberty. The place was clean and looked just as advertised. We made ourselves at home real quick. The host was a great communicator, responsive, and friendly. I would definitely come back again, highly recommend this airbnb.

Positive: I loved how clean the apartment was and the space. Negative: I didn't like that it stated breakfast included, but the only thing in the kitchen was 3 packs of pancakes. No milk, no eggs and no creamer for coffee. I'd you're going to include breakfast, include eggs, milk & creamer for coffee, not just plain pancakes, that is not breakfast. We were extremely disappointed with that.

*familly of 8 4 senior,2 adult,2 kids we all loved the verry beutifull house i can't describe enough how welcoming and cozy is the house bedroom are so comfy clean(spotless) *location some how friendly just watch when u park outside for city cleaning services read the sign (i got ticket for not moving the car bcz i was so tired from travel) the house is near liberty state park(nj side car parking availble for 7 dollar all day do make my mistake walking with kids and senior parent's and in law's was exosting for us) *luca was verry responsive and fast *we liked everything about the house (just be ready for sharp stairs after long walking day like happend to us ) *im not fan of new york it was gift trip to my parent's and in law's but most defintly if i ever went back it will be the only place i would like to sleep at big recommendation for great job u guys do thank u so muck

Luca very responsive. No. 2 had right amount of bedrooms, bathrooms & separate toilet. 2 bathrooms needed for teenagers! Open plan living a dream, very communal. TV great (& huge!). Roof garden an absolute bonus. Comfy sofas & cushions. Coffee overlooking the NY skyline, chatting to Lady Liberty each morning! The neighbourhood fairly quiet, any noise steady & just life. We choose to stay in neighbourhoods as opposed to hotels to ‘feel’ a place. At times we felt like the only white British family but it didn’t matter, friendly, people out & about walking dogs & always a hello. Fab welcome from Mellow at the Light Rail Cafe. Garfield station mins away, then Path or Ferry from Exchange Place to NYC, all so convenient. Apartment cooled by the air con, hot water when needed, all facilities we needed, comfy beds at the end of a busy day! Down town Jersey City has tons to do, lots of fab restaurants & shops. Spend the day in NYC, leave the chaos & get to look at it from JC! Thanks Luca 😊

Hosts are super nice. Convenient to transit. Neighborhood is not the best, but the home is very nice.

We had a great stay at this AIRBNB! This apartment is very close to a light rail train to get into NYC (3 min walk from apartment). The unit had everything we needed for our stay minus washcloths. So if you use those during showers, you may want to bring your own. We picked some up at a Target and managed. If you plan to cook any meals at the house like we did(breakfast each day), I’d recommend bringing some items that aren’t supplied: dishwasher packs, dish soap, and maybe extra paper towels(only one roll was supplied). This apartment was very clean and comfortable during our stay. We loved the rooftop lounge area and it offered beautiful views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty. **Make sure to pay attention to the signs on the street when parking. There are days that they clean the street (Monday/Thursday 8-10am) and you car needs to be moved during that time. If it’s not, you’ll be ticketed like we were($50!). 😡 which is no fault of the host. We just didn’t see it. 🤪

Overall the house was nice with a lot of space and a nice rooftop deck. Great for a group. Bus service wasn’t as convenient as I would have liked with long gaps between buses.

Lucas home was beautiful, new and updated. It did lack some of the kitchen products that I’ve found in other air bnb prior such as spices, oil, etc to cook with. Also I would definitely recommend putting in a large full length mirror… not enough mirrors in the house. In addition, one of my daughters had to bring her dog as a last minute decision and although it is a pet friendly location, we were charged a much higher fee that I’ve been charged for pets before in other air bnbs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt that Luca was a good host in that he was very quick and courteous in his responses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the airbnb. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The host responded quickly when we had a question. Highly recommend!!

The place was amazing ! Me and my friends has a great night at the house and enjoyed everything about it ! The towels were a bit damp but I have a feeling it had to do with the heat. Other than that no complaints!! Definitely would book again

We had a great stay and felt comfortable there. It was our first time to NJ and NYC easy access home. Wonderfully clean. Looks like pictures.

The place was spotless and very spacious. I would like to have some drawers at the bedrooms for daily personal belongs, instead of opening the luggage all the time. We rent a car, so the traffic to get to the city was not fun. But Luca was great, very responsive. I would recommend if you consider a spacious, clean, very comfortable town house.

I rented the unit for my family to stay and they couldn't have been more happy with the property! The unit was BEAUTIFUL and well equipped. It was clean and convenient to downtown Jersey City and transportation. The owner of the property was kind, responsive, and accommodating. The stay was perfect and I will surely be renting it out again and highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft war sehr grosszügig, sauber und die Küche gut ausgestattet ! Luca war sehr freundlich u zuvorkommend. Wir waren vier Personen und hatten reichlich Platz. Handtücher für die Toiletten sowie Küchentücher zum abtrocknen waren leider nicht vorhanden, auch nicht auf Anfrage, wir hatten lediglich ein Badetuch pro Person für eine Woche. Der Weg nach Manhattan und all den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist nicht zu unterschätzen! Wir hatten eine gute Zeit würden uns aber beim nächsten New York Besuch ein Heim näher Manhattan suchen. Danke Luca. Le logement a une très bonne situation géographique. Très spacieux, avec tout le confort et l'équipement nécessaire pour être comme chez soi. La vue de la terrasse est à vous couper le souffle. L'hôte est très présent et réactif, est venu nous voir en moins de 30 min. Génial!

We came for NYC and location already became a pain which is not her fault. The place had the bare minimum and had very little supplies to clean, no paper towels or spray. She is a very nice lady and was very considerate to our group. She requested the garage to be taken out on days which is no problem but she did not supply bags. And the dishwasher, we were only given was dish tab but we had to use it more than that. No cleaning supplies like paper towels or spray, and the only reason that should be supplied to us is because she requested we clean the house before we check out. Im fine cleaning up after my group but I’m not going to go out of my way to buy said necessities to do so. I say this place could easily be about 5 star with some added essential amenities.

It’s an awesome place to stay and Luca is a great host and very responsive. Will love to stay again.
